Position Overview
A global logistics provider is seeking experienced 1099 Freight Sales Representatives to drive new business across international and domestic freight services. This is a commission-based role designed for true hunters who can build, grow, and manage their own book of business.
The role offers full flexibility and access to a broad service portfolio, supported by an established operations team and technology-driven infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
• Prospect, develop, and close new freight opportunities across multiple modes
• Build and manage long-term customer relationships
• Generate and grow a book of business through outbound efforts and referrals
• Sell solutions across air, ocean, domestic truckload, LTL, and temperature-controlled freight
• Coordinate with internal operations teams to ensure successful execution
• Maintain pipeline discipline and consistent revenue generation
• Provide visibility and updates to customers throughout the shipment lifecycle
Requirements
• Experience in freight sales within 3PL, brokerage, or NVOCC environments
• Existing book of business preferred or strong ability to build one
• Strong understanding of international and domestic logistics solutions
• Ability to operate independently in a commission-based structure
• Proven prospecting and relationship-building capability
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
