They are seeking an Administrative Assistant to provide essential administrative and operational support, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of the office while serving as a central point of contact for leaders and employees.
Responsibilities
- Provide front-desk and administrative support, including greeting visitors and managing incoming and outgoing mail and shipments
- Support managers and senior leaders with correspondence, reports, spreadsheets, and other documentation
- Plan, organize, and schedule meetings in-office, off-site, and via virtual platforms
- Coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for employees
- Maintain filing systems, contact databases, employee lists, and office inventory
- Order office supplies and coordinate food deliveries for meetings and events
- Support workflow improvements by following and refining standard operating procedures
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education preferred
- Proven administrative experience in an office environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent time-management skills with the ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
- Comfortable learning and using new software, tools, and systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion
- Prior experience in office management or expense tracking is an asset
- A minimum of 200Mb/sec download and 10Mb/sec upload speed internet connectivity is required to support any remote/hybrid employee functionality at Sonova
