The Employment Development Department (EDD) is one of the largest State departments in California, dedicated to connecting job seekers and employers. They are seeking an Analyst I to support the Workforce Services Branch by evaluating workforce programs and conducting research and data analysis to inform service delivery strategies.
Responsibilities
- Support the EDD WSB by evaluating the effectiveness of workforce programs administered by the EDD and its partners
- Conduct research and data analysis that informs service delivery strategies, policy development, and program improvements
- Work closely with colleagues at all levels, across units and departments, as well as with external stakeholders
- Participate in team decision-making, strategy development, and effective problem-solving efforts
Skills
- Must have problem-solving skills for creative solutions in the workforce system
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in conducting research and data analysis that informs service delivery strategies, policy development, and program improvements
- Ability to collaborate closely with colleagues at all levels, across units and departments, as well as with external stakeholders
- Participation in team decision-making, strategy development, and effective problem-solving efforts
- Must submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) that follows the required format
