Responsibilities
- Preparing files for defense from inception to resolution
- Extensive reporting and communication with clients and insurers
- Conducting depositions
- Preparing and arguing motions
- Appearing in court and trial preparation
Skills
- Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is a must
- 0 to 3 years of experience, preferably in defense litigation
- Excellent academic credentials
- Superior research and analytical skills
- Superb writing and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills
- Ability to perform all aspects of the position satisfactorily while working both independently and as part of a team
- Admission to the West Virginia Bar is a plus
- Asbestos litigation experience a plus
