• Write "clean", well-designed, reusable and optimized code.
• Proficient in writing and optimizing SQL statements.
• Maintaining the existing code base, including troubleshooting bugs and adding new features.
• Converting data from various formats (Excel, CSV, etc.) into developed databases.
• Participating in a team-oriented environment to develop complex web-based applications.
• Develop processes to deliver data in JSON/XML format.
Desired Candidate Profile
• Proven software development experience in PHP, MySQL, and JSON/XML.
• Understanding of open source projects like Joomla, WordPress, etc.
• Demonstrable knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, AJAX, etc.
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks such as CodeIgniter or Laravel.
• Experience in common third-party APIs (Google, Facebook, etc.).
• Strong server knowledge.
• Ability to solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges.
