We are currently seeking a Commercial Litigation Associate with 3 to 7 years of experience to join a prominent national law firm. This position is unique in that it is fully remote allowing for a sophisticated practice without the requirement of a physical office commute.
The Role
This associate will focus primarily on Financial Services and Capital Markets litigation. Rather than a generalist approach, the firm utilizes an industry-centric model, meaning you will work alongside a specialized team handling high-stakes disputes for financial institutions and investment entities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing all phases of complex commercial litigation in Florida state and federal courts
• Conducting factual investigations, discovery, and taking/defending depositions
• Drafting pleadings and arguing motions
• Participating in mediations and acting as second-chair in trials or arbitrations
Candidate Requirements
• Must reside in Southwest Florida
• Active and in good standing with the Florida Bar is required.
• 3-7 years of commercial litigation experience
• Strong academic credentials and superb writing skills
