Job Description: • Provide legal support for North American M&A, including acquisitions, asset purchases, divestments and other strategic transactions. • Be the primary legal support for North America venture capital investments and portfolio company management. • Provide strategic legal advice regarding transaction structure, risks and execution. • Help with legal due diligence across areas such as corporate, commercial, IP, and regulatory and advise on legal and regulatory issues that may affect transactions, such as antitrust and data privacy. • Partner collaboratively with Corporate Development, Experian Ventures, tax, finance, HR and other internal partners on transaction planning, execution and integration. • Provide support on other corporate matters, with transactions as the primary focus. • You will report to Senior Counsel – M&A in the Law Department. Requirements: • 5 to 8 years of relevant transactional experience in a large law firm or in-house setting • JD degree and license to practice law in relevant jurisdictions required • Transactional experience with an emphasis on M&A, investments, joint ventures, and other corporate transactions. • The highest standards for diligence in handling legal matters • Experience disseminating legal information non-legal professionals in a clear way • History of taking complex business issues and developing practical strategies from a legal perspective Benefits: • Great compensation package and bonus plan • Core benefits including medical, dental, vision, and matching 401K • Flexible work environment, ability to work remote, hybrid or in-office • Flexible time off including volunteer time off, vacation, sick and 12-paid holidays
