Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Cutover & Conversions Project Manager with deep expertise in Epic Tapestry to lead and coordinate large-scale system go-lives and data conversion initiatives. This role is responsible for planning, managing, and executing all cutover and conversion activities to ensure a seamless transition from legacy systems to Epic Tapestry. The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare IT experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a proven track record managing complex, cross-functional go-lives. Key Responsibilities Cutover Planning & Execution - Develop and maintain comprehensive cutover plans, including detailed runbooks, timelines, and dependencies - Lead cutover strategy sessions and readiness assessments - Coordinate all go-live activities, ensuring alignment across technical and operational teams - Manage command center activities during go-live and stabilization periods Data Conversion Management - Oversee end-to-end data conversion lifecycle (mapping, extraction, transformation, validation, and reconciliation) - Collaborate with data architects, analysts, and Epic teams to ensure data integrity and accuracy - Define and track conversion metrics, reconciliation processes, and sign-offs - Manage mock conversions and dress rehearsals Tapestry (Epic) Expertise - Partner with Tapestry application teams to support payer system configuration and migration - Ensure alignment of conversion activities with Tapestry workflows and business processes - Provide guidance on payer-specific data structures, membership, claims, and billing data Stakeholder & Team Coordination - Serve as the central point of coordination across IT, business, vendor, and Epic teams - Facilitate cross-functional meetings, status reporting, and executive communications - Manage risks, issues, and dependencies with clear escalation paths Governance & Readiness - Define go/no-go criteria and support executive decision-making - Ensure all readiness checkpoints (technical, operational, training, support) are met - Maintain detailed documentation of cutover and conversion processes Required Qualifications - 5+ years of project management experience in healthcare IT - 3+ years of hands-on experience with Epic, specifically Tapestry (payer platform) - Proven experience managing cutover and/or data conversion for large system implementations - Strong understanding of payer operations (claims, enrollment, billing, benefits) - Experience with mock conversions, go-live planning, and command center operations - Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills Hourly range: $75 hr.-$80 hr. The hourly range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skills, experience, training, licensure and certifications, practice area, and other business and organizational needs.
