Summary of Role We are seeking a Data Quality & Service Management Analyst to support data cleansing, validation, and analysis activities within a service management environment. The role will focus on improving data accuracy, consistency, and governance within ServiceNow platform. Responsibilities - Perform data cleansing and validation activities to ensure data accuracy and completeness. - Analyse datasets to identify inconsistencies, duplicates, and data quality gaps. - Support data quality reviews and ongoing data remediation efforts. - Assist with core review and gap analysis activities within the service management platform. - Update and maintain records in ServiceNow (or equivalent system). - Work with stakeholders to improve data standards and governance practices. - Document findings and provide recommendations for data improvements. Requirements - Matric and a Tertiary qualification - Proven experience in data cleansing, validation, and analysis. - Hands-on experience with ServiceNow (mandatory). - Understanding of data quality principles and governance practices. - Ability to identify gaps and support remediation activities. - Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. - Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks efficiently. Skills - Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Excel advanced functions). - Understanding of IT Service Management (ITSM) processes. - Basic SQL or scripting knowledge. - Experience supporting data governance or system optimisation initiatives.
