DPDP / Data Privacy Lead Consultant.
REQUIREMENT BRIEF/SCOPE OF WORK
Introduction:
We have DPDP requirements from our existing clients across the multiple domains, including:
General Insurance
Banking/NBFC
FMCG
We are looking to identify and onboard experienced partners who can help us assess/Audit, design, implement, and operationalize Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act compliance across business processes, technology systems, and governance frameworks.
Objective:
To engage a qualified DPDP implementation partner capable of:
- Assessing current data handling practices
- Identifying gaps against DPDP requirements
- Designing policies, processes, and technical controls
- Supporting implementation and monitoring
- Enabling long-term governance and audit readiness
The partner should bring both legal interpretation + technical implementation expertise.
Role Requirements:
Experience
a.3–7+ years in data privacy, compliance, cybersecurity or governance
b.Prior implementation experience for:
a)DPDP, GDPR, HIPAA, PDPB, CCPA, or similar regulations
c.Experience working with:
a)Insurance / Financial Services / FMCG (preferred)
Functional Knowledge
Strong understanding of:
a.DPDP Act provisions and obligations
b.Cross-border data transfer considerations
c.Consent management best practices
d.Data minimization & purpose limitation
e.Data breach handling and notification processes
Technical Competence
Hands-on exposure to:
a.Data discovery & classification tools
b.DLP, SIEM, IAM, encryption technologies
c.API governance frameworks
d.Secure cloud data handling (AWS / Azure / GCP)
e.Integration with CRM, ERP, Core systems, DMS, Marketing platforms

Pan India.
