Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced ABA Therapist to join our team in Conyers, GA. As an ABA Therapist, you'll work one-on-one with individuals with autism, implementing ABA therapy programs and collecting data on behavior and skill acquisition. You'll collaborate with our BCBAs and families to develop and implement treatment plans, and contribute to the growth and development of our team. Key Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one in-home ABA therapy sessions with individuals with autism, implementing treatment plans developed by our BCBAs
- Collect behavior and skill acquisition data during sessions, using various assessment tools and methods
- Conduct discrete trials, implement behavior support, and treatment plans, and provide feedback to families and BCBAs
- Collaborate with BCBAs and families to develop and implement treatment plans, and contribute to the growth and development of our team
- Be responsive to the needs and requests of clients, their families, and supervisors, and maintain professionalism in all aspects of your work
- Arrive on time and be prepared for therapy sessions, with all necessary materials and equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education) preferred
- 1 year of experience working with children in a 1:1 setting; 1 year of ABA experience preferred
- If no direct ABA experience, 1-2 years of experience working as a Special Education Assistant, Paraprofessional, Direct Support Professional, Medical Assistant, Autism Experience, Teacher's Assistant, or ABA Tutor in a school or home setting
- Ability to demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Personal means of transportation with a reliable vehicle; valid driver's license and clean driving record required
- Must have own transportation and auto insurance to travel between clients
Preferred Qualifications
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification; BCBA certification preferred
- Experience using a Cognitive Behavior Intervention Plan with youth and families
- University Partnerships, Supervision, Practicum, and Mentoring experience for aspiring BCBAs

- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and practices, with experience implementing ABA therapy programs
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with individuals with autism, families, and BCBAs
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple clients and responsibilities
- Compassion, empathy, and patience, with ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
