**Position Summary**
As a Customer Service Specialist - Entry Level, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support. Your primary goal will be to build and maintain effective long-term relationships with customers, responding to their requests with a sense of urgency and driving their orders through to completion. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including manufacturing, engineering, and shipping teams, to ensure seamless communication and efficient issue resolution.
**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**
As a Customer Service Specialist - Entry Level, your key responsibilities will include:
* Building and maintaining effective long-term relationships with customers by responding to their requests with a sense of urgency and driving their orders through to completion.
* Acknowledging orders, obtaining engineering input on parts, and coordinating with the Purchasing team for parts orders.
* Preparing spare parts proposals for customers and entering orders into the ERP system.
* Preparing packages and bills of lading for outgoing shipments and expediting deliveries per customer requests.
* Maintaining records between Smart Sheet and Epicor and ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner.
* Serving as a liaison with manufacturing, engineering, and shipping teams to streamline operational processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
**Qualifications and Skills**
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
* 0-2 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Familiarity with ERP systems and other software applications.
