**Job Summary**
We're looking for a highly skilled Data Entry Specialist to join our team on a contract basis. As a Data Entry Specialist, you'll be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into our shared excel spreadsheet, reviewing and processing claims, and ensuring compliance with metrics and quality standards. **Key Responsibilities**
• **Data Entry**: Enter data into our shared excel spreadsheet with high accuracy and speed, using a quiet and private working environment with a high-speed, reliable internet connection.
• **Typing Test**: Complete a typing test with a minimum speed of 38 WPM to demonstrate your data entry skills.
• **Claims Processing**: Review, process, and adjust claims according to IDR awards and settlement agreements.
• **Compliance**: Ensure that the NSA IDR Claims Ops Team meets metrics and quality standards to remain compliant.
• **Data Verification**: Compare data with source documents, or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
• **Log Maintenance**: Maintain logs of activities and completed work.
**Key Requirements and Technology Experience**
• **Excel Experience**: Intermediate to advanced Excel experience is required, with a strong focus on data entry and manipulation.
• **Outlook Experience**: Experience with Outlook is essential, with a focus on email management and data entry.
• **Attention to Detail**: Strong attention to detail is crucial, with the ability to accurately enter data and detect errors.
• **Data Entry Speed**: A minimum data entry speed of 38 WPM is required, with the ability to maintain accuracy and efficiency.
• **Communication Skills**: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, with the ability to interact with colleagues and stakeholders.
• **Interpersonal Skills**: Strong interpersonal skills are required, with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• **Medical Claims Experience**: Experience with medical claims and Amisys is preferred, but not essential.
**Education and Experience**
• **High School Diploma or GED**: A high school diploma or GED is required, with previous experience in data entry and computer applications.
