Job Overview
As an E-commerce Customer Service Assistant at blithequark, you will be the primary point of contact for addressing customer service queries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional support to our valued customers. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. While training and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) will be provided, we are a fast-moving company with high expectations, and we are looking for someone who can thrive in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service: Respond to customer service queries, such as order status inquiries, using templated messages via Email, Amazon, Live Chat, and Text Message, ensuring timely and effective resolution of customer concerns.
- Customer Communication: Send text messages to customers at 5:30 PM UK time, advising them of multiple package deliveries using our SMS service, to ensure proactive communication and enhanced customer experience.
- Review Management: Flag negative reviews, A to Z claims, and chargebacks, and add them to a spreadsheet across UK and EU markets, to monitor and improve our online reputation and customer satisfaction.
- Other Opportunities: Depending on your level of experience, there is scope to expand your role to cover other aspects of the business, including the growth of Amazon and Shopify platforms, providing opportunities for professional growth and development.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential skills and experience:
- Experience: Proven experience with Amazon Seller Central and Shopify platforms, with a deep understanding of e-commerce operations and customer service principles.
- Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (fluent), with the ability to craft clear and concise messages, and communicate effectively with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders. Additional European languages (German, French, Spanish, Italian) are a positive asset.
- Remote Work: Experience working remotely and managing tasks independently, with the ability to self-motivate, stay focused, and maintain productivity in a remote work setting.
Preferred Qualifications
