Job Summary
We're seeking an experienced Finance Professional to join our Investor Relations (IR) team at American Express in New York. As a key member of our team, you'll play a critical role in developing and executing a proactive financial investor relations program that drives business success. Key Responsibilities
As a Finance Professional on our IR team, your key responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing a comprehensive financial investor relations program that aligns with our company's strategic objectives
- Creating commitment prioritization and outlining associations with key external partners
- Designing and delivering applicable financial investor materials, including investor presentations, earnings releases, and quarterly updates
- Overseeing coordinated operations and timetable preparation, including investor gatherings and events
- Upholding existing IR expectations, including profit interaction, investor and analyst gatherings, and investor communications
- Leading a team of one direct report to support the development of the new program
Essential Qualifications

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and develop creative solutions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with external and internal partners
- Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Proactive approach to anticipating client needs and responding to demands in a timely and productive manner
- Strong logical abilities and capacity to oversee and absorb large amounts of data
- Ability to demonstrate exceptional skill and integrity in connection with financial local area, senior administration, and internal partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in financial investor relations, with a strong understanding of financial markets and investor dynamics
- Knowledge of financial reporting and regulatory requirements, including SEC guidelines and regulations
- Experience with investor relations software and tools, including IR platforms and data analytics
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results-oriented projects
- Experience in developing and executing financial communications, including investor presentations and earnings releases
