As a Flight Attendant Manager, you'll play a critical role in leading our Inflight team, driving business results, and fostering a culture of inclusion and recognition.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, guidance, and coaching to Inflight base employees, including mentoring, developing, and engaging team members
- Monitor and evaluate Flight Attendant performance, ensuring adherence to work rules and Company policies
- Serve as the primary point of contact for Flight Attendants at assigned stations, providing support and answering questions related to the Flight Attendant role
- Conduct i360/Airline Steward Boarding Performance appraisals and visits to interact with Leaders and Employees in assigned Southwest served cities
- Ensure compliance with all work rules and regulations, including attendance at required Administration training sessions
- Develop and implement recognition and reward programs to motivate and engage Flight Attendants
- Maintain accurate records and perform data entry for Flight Attendant personnel files
- May perform other job duties as directed by Supervisor or Manager
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required
- At least 18 years old
- U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. (no sponsorship available)
- Ability to perform job duties in a limited space work station/office area for extended periods
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in English
- Proficiency in using a PC and other office productivity tools
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a leadership role, preferably in the airline industry
- Knowledge of collective bargaining agreements and labor laws
- Experience with performance management, coaching, and development
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
