We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Data Entry Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our Studio Data Management crew, you will play a critical role in creating packages that drive innovation in content creation. Our team manages information quality for various operational data units that are used extensively across those packages. We work closely with product groups to ensure that the data is bringing value to their products while also working to enhance underlying data quality through better methods, analysis, suggestions, and user education.
In this role, you will focus on data related to the offers arenaflex makes with skills and teams for the content we place on service. Deal data is used throughout studio operations, from pitch to play, and it's essential that this data is accurate, complete, and connected. You will assist in defining, examining, and documenting data quality requirements to meet business needs, devise and socialize best practices, and create and execute methods to collect and share data efficiently. You will work with product squads on tasks related to product development while also guiding enhancements to foundational data health.
A successful candidate will enjoy digging into large data sets to identify trends and diagnose issues, have the agility to pivot between heads-down project execution and user-focused problem-solving, and be excited about the opportunity to be part of an evolving team.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Provide near-term and long-term guidance for deal data needs across the studio, including data quality and data education. Create quarterly goals to meet near and long-term business objectives and lead execution of roadmap initiatives.
* Act as the primary data entity subject-matter expert professionally across the studio, consulting with product management, engineers, designers, and stakeholders on work related to deal data.
* Work with product management, product DSE, and other partners to define, create, examine, and document metrics that provide visibility into various dimensions of data quality.
* Independently define and implement methods to scale data quality work efficiently.
* Lead data quality projects to support product development and to enhance foundational data quality, developing distinct plans that identify business impact, timelines, and risks and executing work.
* Manage stakeholder requests and drive stakeholder alignment when needed.
* Act as an aid for responding to users' data-related support requests.
* Partner with business groups to create and implement more efficient processes, best data practices, and educational documentation.
**Required Qualifications:**
* 6+ years of experience working in data management with databases and/or content management systems
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data across a large environment to diagnose issues and devise solutions
* Strong expertise in workflow and the ability to understand inefficiencies
* General expertise in the pitch-to-play lifecycle of content
* Knowledge of data lifecycle and data governance concepts
* Excellent time-management and project-management skills and the ability to manage timelines for multiple projects
* Strong ability to communicate with empathy and clarity to technical and non-technical audiences
* Flexible in an evolving environment
* Proficiency with Google Suite and table-based total packages (e.g., Excel, Airtable)
**Additive Skills:**
* Experience with SQL
* Experience working with product, engineering, and customer service groups
* Experience in legal operations or studio operations
* Experience working at a studio, distributor, movie sales, production company, agency, management company, or other entertainment operation
