A Day in the Role
As a Healthcare Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Processing various medical documents, such as Independent Medical Reviews
- Extracting data from documents and entering it into our electronic database using Microsoft Excel or Microsoft Word
- Working independently and in partnership with other team members to ensure timely completion of cases and address any questions or concerns
- Using critical thinking skills to determine next steps and reaching out to clients via phone to obtain missing information
- Providing excellent customer service and client coordination over the phone
Key Responsibilities
To succeed in this role, you will need to:
- Be comfortable and proficient using computers, spreadsheets, and reliable internet
- Be able to work in a metrics/quota-driven environment and meet productivity targets
- Have excellent communication and customer service skills
- Be able to work independently and as part of a remote team
- Be flexible and able to adapt to changing priorities and workflows
Requirements and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Have at least 1 year of remote work experience
- Have a High School Diploma
- Have reliable high-speed internet and a personal computer or laptop (no Chromebooks)
- Have previous experience working in a metrics-based environment
- Have experience in healthcare, insurance, or claims (preferred)
Schedule and Work Environment
This is a 100% remote position, and you will be required to work:
- Monday - Friday, 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM EST
- From your own home or a quiet workspace with reliable internet
