As a 100% remote role, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere in the United States, collaborating with our talented team to drive sales growth and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
About the Role
As an Inside Sales Representative at Fast Lane, you'll be the driving force behind identifying new sales opportunities, building strong customer relationships, and closing moderate sales deals. Your primary focus will be on selling IT training and consulting services to B2B clients, working closely with various internal stakeholders, including Operations and Services, Account Executives, Client Directors, and Alliance Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Locate New Sales Opportunities: Conduct warm and outbound calls to potential customers, leveraging your sales expertise to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Sales Process Management: Follow up on cold and warm leads, demonstrating Fast Lane's training and consulting products and services to drive engagements and support top-line revenue growth.
- Customer Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with prospects and clients, engaging them through knowledge of cutting-edge technologies such as cloud, data, security, and AI, combined with our training and consulting services.
- Collaboration and Partnership: Work closely with Fast Lane's Strategic Account Managers, Alliance Managers, vendor field sellers, and other technology product/service sellers to co-sell and acquire new customers.
- Sales Tools and Technology: Utilize LinkedIn, Apollo, and other sales tools to organize and scale your sales efforts, ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency.
- Performance Objectives: Make outbound calls to prospects and clients, secure meetings, and close non-complex opportunities resulting from inbound customer inquiries, prospecting related to vendor training credits, and existing customer contracts.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- Proven Sales Track Record: A demonstrated history of sales success, with a strong ability to identify and research potential clients who may benefit from Fast Lane's training and consulting services.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey the value proposition of our offerings and build rapport with clients.
- Hunter Mentality: A driven and ambitious approach to sales, with the ability to develop relationships and sell simple training solutions.
- Industry Knowledge: Awareness of key technologies and technology vendors at a high level, with a strong understanding of the specific needs and challenges clients may face, such as cloud migration, adoption of AI, reskilling, and upskilling.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Bachelor's Degree: A related field degree, demonstrating your academic background and potential for professional growth.
- Sales Tools Experience: Familiarity with prospecting tools such as LinkedIn, Sales Navigator, and Apollo IO, showcasing your ability to leverage technology to drive sales success.
- Microsoft Office 365 Proficiency: Skilled in using Microsoft Office 365, ensuring seamless productivity and collaboration.
- Industry Experience: Experience working with major technology vendors such as Microsoft, Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, AWS, Google Cloud, etc., or selling training solutions, highlighting your understanding of the industry and its needs.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in a professional role, with at least 3 years of experience in an inside sales role selling services, demonstrating your maturity and sales acumen.
