Key Responsibilities
- Contact policyholders through inbound and outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal, enhancing retention and meeting the needs of our customers.
- Counsel policyholders on appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws to ensure sufficient protection against risks covered by property and casualty insurance.
- Make recommendations and process changes to policies, documenting all activity in our system.
- Receive and respond to calls and emails, providing efficient and professional customer service, and utilizing knowledge of the insurance industry and arenaflex policies and procedures.
- Identify opportunities to apply discounts, process insurance verification forms, and act as a liaison between customers and insurance companies.
- Process changes to policies, follow up with companies to ensure timely processing, and review policy information to assist customers in filing claims.
- Recognize cross-sell opportunities and obtain quote information to drive business growth.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent and at least 3 years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment.
- A Property and Casualty insurance license (required).
- Membership license preferred, or the ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are desirable:
- Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment.
- Knowledge of insurance industry software and systems.
