Job Summary
The Manager of Post-Operations Analytics is a key role in our Network Operations Control (NOC) team, which serves as the heart of our operational decision-making and coordination. As a hybrid position based out of our Corporate Campus in Dallas, TX, you will work onsite at least three days a week and remotely for the remaining days. You will lead a team and work closely with adjacent groups to extract insights from data, identify root causes of disruptions, and develop corrective actions to improve future responses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire Post-Ops Analytics process to deliver feedback and development instructions to stakeholders
- Establish data flows, methods, and data structures to support assessment and analytics
- Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data to identify root causes of disruptions and develop corrective actions
- Work collaboratively with adjacent Network Operations Control groups to extract insights and develop recommendations
- Identify opportunities to improve IROPS response based on data analysis and work with the Post-Ops analytics team to develop tactical next steps
- Manage documentation of assessment and outcomes in a shared repository
- May perform special project duties as directed by Leaders
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Demonstrated experience in a related field, preferably in airline operations or disruption management analytics
- Knowledge of statistical and analytical techniques, data visualization tools, and predictive or prescriptive algorithms
- Skilled in group-building and consensus-building, with ability to work autonomously and lead through influence
- Ability to demonstrate and maintain a high level of responsibility and provide direction in a team-oriented environment
- Proficiency in SQL, R, Python, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in airline operations and operational data sets, equipment, and systems
- Knowledge of data visualization tools, such as Tableau, Power BI, or D3.js
- Experience with predictive or prescriptive analytics, machine learning, or artificial intelligence
