Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales Growth: Contribute directly to sales and margin objectives in assigned categories, analyzing important data and integrating findings and recommendations into Class Plans for marketing programs.
- Strategic Execution: Drive strategic execution of everyday assortment activities, such as tracking sales performance, monitoring inventory levels, and making adjustments as necessary.
- Collaboration: Work closely with an internal team of Blithequark experts in Stock, Estimating, Merchandising, Finance, Store Brands, Store Design, Marketing, and Store Operations to ensure alignment and effective execution of marketing strategies.
- Data Analysis: Analyze sales records and inventory levels of current stock, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Competitor Analysis: Create and maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape; research new competitive opportunities and make recommendations.
- Market Research: Stay up-to-date with changes in the market, researching customer preferences, supplier costs, and the competitive environment.
Essential Qualifications
- Retail Math Concepts: Working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; some experience with Access or other database software.
- Travel: Willingness to travel 5-10%.

- Marketing Experience: Previous experience in marketing, sales, or a related field.
