Key Responsibilities

• Provide essential information and guidance to families during the matching process, ensuring they are well-informed and prepared for the cultural exchange experience.
• Clearly articulate regulations, policies, and program rules to Host Families and Au Pairs, ensuring compliance and understanding of program requirements.
• Conduct in-home family interviews and site visits to confirm understanding of program regulations and provide personalized support.
• Facilitate in-home orientations for new Au Pairs upon their arrival, ensuring a warm welcome and smooth transition into their new environment.
• Maintain monthly communications with families and Au Pairs to ensure ongoing support and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
• Organize and implement in-person cultural events for Au Pairs in the local community, promoting cultural exchange and socialization.
• Collaborate with headquarters staff to support families and Au Pairs effectively, ensuring a cohesive and supportive team environment.
• Build and nurture personal relationships with families and Au Pairs while ensuring high-quality communication and customer service.
• Execute marketing initiatives as directed by headquarters, promoting the blithequark brand and services to the local community.
• Address crisis and conflict situations promptly and professionally, assisting families and Au Pairs with resolution and providing guidance and support as needed.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and Au Pairs.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• High energy, enthusiasm, and motivation, with a passion for international exchange and education.
• Proficient in utilizing technology, including access to a home computer/laptop and the internet, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and software.
• Reliable transportation and access to a vehicle, with the ability to conduct in-home visits and attend local events.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with a college degree preferred but not mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience in child care or cultural exchange programs is highly desirable, with strong interpersonal and counseling skills. The ability to work independently and manage time effectively is also essential, with a flexible and adaptable approach to work.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation is tiered based on the number of active families within your service area, with estimated yearly compensation ranging from $4,500 to $9,300. As an independent contractor, you will enjoy the flexibility of creating your own schedule while making a significant impact in the lives of families and young adults globally. Payments will be made monthly for the deliverables submitted for the prior month.
