Job Summary

We are seeking experienced and enthusiastic part-time tutors to work with students in our Sacramento center. As a tutor, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one instruction to students in English, writing, and test preparation for the SAT and ACT. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personalized instruction to students in English, writing, and test preparation for the SAT and ACT
• Develop and implement customized learning plans to meet the needs of each student
• Conduct in-center, in-person tutoring sessions with students
• Assess student progress and adjust instruction as needed
• Maintain a positive and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with other tutors and staff members to achieve center goals

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or related field
• State credential or teaching experience preferred
• Math/science or English/writing degree required for SAT and ACT prep
• Positive and nurturing teaching style
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Teaching credential or tutoring experience
• Experience working with students in a similar setting
• Familiarity with SAT and ACT prep materials and strategies
