Key Responsibilities of the Per Diem ADHD Evaluator
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnoses of Attention Deficit-Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) among Cornell students, utilizing evidence-based practices and staying updated on the latest research and methodologies.
- Work collaboratively with professionals from various healthcare, academic, and student support services to ensure integrated care and support for students.
- Integrate values of diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging into all interactions with students and colleagues, fostering a culture of respect and empathy.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records, adhering to ethical and legal standards in clinical practice.
- Communicate complex information effectively to diverse audiences, including students, parents, and healthcare professionals.

Essential Qualifications
- A Master's or Doctorate degree in social work, psychology, mental health counseling, or a related clinical field.
- Licensure in New York State as a social worker, mental health counselor, or psychologist.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in assessing and reporting ADHD and co-occurring conditions.
- Eligibility for CAQH credentialing.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and electronic communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with diverse or multicultural populations.
- Understanding of and compliance with ethical and legal issues in clinical services.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships based on respect, empathy, and honesty.
