Job Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for driving strategy and operations for YouTube's Trust and Safety team, with a focus on ensuring go-to-market readiness for product launches, analyzing market feedback, and conducting in-depth analyses around creator impact. As a subject matter expert on YouTube's safety measures, you will collaborate cross-functionally with various teams, including Product Management, Engineering, User Experience, and Research, to protect the community from abusive content and adversarial actors. Your ultimate goal will be to build trust in YouTube's systems, ensuring creators can efficiently resolve policy issues and maintain a positive experience on the platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies and plans to support YouTube Trust and Safety launches, including impact analysis, adoption goals, communication levers, support for viewers and creators, and messaging.
- Shape product roadmaps by analyzing and representing viewer and partner feedback, ensuring that user needs are at the forefront of product development.
- Conduct quantitative analyses using SQL and spreadsheets to translate complex datasets about partners, products, and users into actionable insights, informing business decisions and driving growth.
- Drive operational excellence by setting and tracking OKRs, driving quarterly and annual planning with cross-functional teams, and ensuring seamless execution of business strategies.
- Act as the owner for business strategies, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, structuring, tracking, and communicating work-streams with cross-functional teams and executives.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 4 years of experience in management consulting, sales operations, business strategy, investment banking, venture capital, private equity, or corporate advisory, or 2 years of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with database querying and SQL, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and draw meaningful insights.
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:
- 3 years of experience in an analytical role, such as management consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy.
- Experience with online safety and addressing adversarial actors or tactics, with a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities in this space.
- Experience presenting to senior audiences, working cross-functionally with business and technical teams, and with database querying and SQL.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and learn across different subject matters and priorities, with a strong capacity for adaptability and growth.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas and influence stakeholders.

We offer a competitive salary range for this position, with a US base salary range of $114,000-$167,000, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.
