As a Registered Nurse in our Acute Neurology unit, you will be part of a highly collaborative and dynamic team, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care to patients with a range of neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injuries, strokes, and neurosurgical patients. Your expertise and compassion will be essential in ensuring that our patients receive the best possible care, and your commitment to ongoing learning and professional development will be supported every step of the way.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess an Associate Degree in Nursing, with a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Nursing required to be obtained within 5 years. You must also have a State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and successful completion of a competency-based orientation program. A strong foundation in neurology and neurosurgery, as well as excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, are essential.
