Key Responsibilities
- Collect, summarize, and analyze statistics to support strategic planning, application development, and operational improvements in our pharmacy and retail operations
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of enterprise tactics and practices related to all aspects of pharmacy and retail operations
- Provide complex analysis of corresponding data to build business cases for system and operational process changes, enhancements, and improvements
- Serve as an operational point of contact for various projects, communicating relevant project information to stakeholders and driving project execution
- Collect, analyze, and provide recommendations on proposed applications to meet business and strategic objectives
- Manage complex ad-hoc projects and analyses as needed
- Plan, design, and deploy suitable reports and tools to support business decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, and regulatory, to develop operational solutions
- Coach, mentor, and provide oversight to less senior business analysts
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 year of experience in reading and reporting data to identify problems, trends, or exceptions and drive development of results and solutions
- At least 1 year of experience querying databases (e.g., SQL, Golden, Business Objects, EDW, SAS, and/or SQL Server)
- Experience in identifying operational problems and recommending and implementing solutions
- Experience communicating the impact of business analysis results to business leaders
- Intermediate-level skill in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Master's degree or MBA
- Retail pharmacy experience
