**Job Summary**
As a Pharmacy Technician Data Entry Specialist, you'll play a vital role in our pharmacy operations, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our medication dispensing process. You'll work closely with our pharmacists and other team members to provide exceptional customer service, resolve customer inquiries, and maintain accurate customer records.
**Day-to-Day Responsibilities**
* Perform order entry tasks and collaborate with pharmacists to ensure accuracy and efficiency in the medication dispensing process
* Provide best-in-class customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
* Triage customer service requests by department, urgency, and information/response required
* Calculate and/or verify correct dosage based on prescriptions
* Assist in reviewing narcotic Rx's in a timely manner
* Provide dispensing pharmacists with information regarding allergies and drug interactions, therapeutic duplications, and other items that the computer flags
* Create and maintain accurate customer records

**Required Qualifications**
* Certification/licensed/registered pharmacy technician or as required by state law
* One (1) or more years of experience as a pharmacy technician or working in a call center
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Prior experience in the long-term care industry
* PTCB National Certification
* Education: Verifiable High School Diploma or GED

**Compensation and Benefits**
The typical pay range for this role is: $17.00 - $28.46. This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, geography, and other relevant factors.
