Role Description
As Sr Manager Cybersecurity, you’ll lead with a People‑first approach while guiding the Security Platform Services Team in delivering secure, scalable, and highly automated capabilities that strengthen Southwest’s Cybersecurity posture.
• Oversee advanced security platforms, SaaS security solutions, and AI‑enabled protections
• Ensure well‑integration, compliance with cybersecurity and technical strategy, and meeting Customer requirements
• Drive vulnerability management, intelligent automation, and observability at scale
• Build trusted partnerships across the enterprise
• Empower Teams and advance the security ecosystem
• Play a critical role in safeguarding Southwest’s systems, data, and Customers
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or GED
• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration or related field and/or equivalent Cybersecurity formal training
Requirements
• Demonstrated experience in directly or indirectly leading team(s)
• Fully functioning, broad knowledge in a Cybersecurity Business and/or Information Technology environment
• Experience leading Cybersecurity initiatives using Agile/SAFe
• Proficiency with Jira Align or similar portfolio tools
• Strong cross-functional leadership and executive communication skills
• Familiarity with key Cybersecurity domains such as Automation, Observability, AI Security and SaaS Security platforms
