Job Summary

We are seeking a licensed and registered Physical Therapist to join our team on a full-time basis. As a Physical Therapist with Tender Touch Rehab, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including outpatient, rehabilitation centers, long-term care, inpatient, clinics, nursing homes, and acute care hospitals. You will be responsible for providing comprehensive physical therapy evaluations, treatment plans, and modalities to patients, while ensuring that all documentation and regulatory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations based on physician orders
• Develop and implement treatment plans, including long-term and short-term goals, frequency, duration, and treatment modalities
• Ensure that physician orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, re-certifications, and discharges
• Provide treatment to patients utilizing various modalities and modify treatment plans as indicated, while adhering to precautions
• Complete all required documentation, including evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in physical therapy

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited university with a B.S., Doctorate, MA, or MS in Physical Therapy recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA)
• Current license and/or registration as a Physical Therapist in-state, as applicable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a variety of settings, including outpatient, rehabilitation centers, long-term care, and acute care hospitals
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs) and documentation systems
• Certifications in specialized areas, such as orthopedics, neurology, or pediatrics
