Position Summary:
Reporting into the Vice President of IT, the IT Project Manager is a strategic leader responsible for driving the successful delivery of IT initiatives that align with organizational priorities and maximize business value. This role champions operational excellence, innovation, and cross-functional collaboration, ensuring projects are executed with resilience, transparency, and measurable impact.
Position Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- Lead end-to-end delivery of IT projects, from intake and planning through execution, risk management, and close-out
- Manage IT project intake and portfolio prioritization, partnering with IT and business leaders to align work to strategy, capacity, and value
- Develop and maintain project plans, including scope, timelines, resourcing, dependencies, risks, and mitigation strategies
- Monitor delivery performance and escalate risks early, providing clear, executive-ready status, recommendations, and trade-offs
- Partner with stakeholders to drive adoption of new systems, coordinating change readiness, communications, and post-implementation review
- Coordinate internal teams and external vendors, ensuring accountability, continuity, and delivery against agreed outcomes
- Track outcomes and lessons learned, contributing to continuous improvement of IT project delivery practices
Position Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Deep expertise in formal project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid) and use of project management software (e.g., MS Planner/Project)
- Strong understanding of IT systems, infrastructure and enterprise applications
- Understands how applications are built, deployed, operated, and supported well enough to plan work, ask the right questions, manage dependencies, and coordinate the right people
- Ability to plan, track, and coordinate work across multiple projects with competing priorities
- Exceptional organizational skills, with proven ability to manage dependencies, risks and resources across concurrent projects
- Proactive risk management and contingency planning capabilities
- Excellent communication skills, with experience preparing executive level presentations, reports and stakeholder updates
- Ability to facilitate collaboration and alignment among diverse stakeholder groups
- Comfort working in a largely remote environment using digital collaboration and project management tools
- Proven ability to lead change management initiatives and drive adoption of new technologies
- Sound judgment, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving

Position Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years’ experience managing multiple complex IT projects, including ERP/CRM implementations or relevant experience.
- Demonstrated experience in project intake, evaluation and portfolio management.
Preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- ADKAR certification
- Experience working in any of the following environments:

- Environment Setup: Access to a quiet, professional home office setup conducive to focused work and virtual meetings
- Lifting: Occasionally requires lifting up to 25 lbs as needed
