Registry Administrator (Remote - South Africa)
A VirtuHire Client is a leader in providing energy compliance services to HVAC contractors and builders across California. They are dedicated to ensuring projects meet stringent state energy efficiency standards through timely and accurate HERS testing and documentation.
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Registry Administrator to join their team. This is a fully remote, full-time position for top-tier candidates based in South Africa. This role is essential to our client's operations, as you will be responsible for managing the registration of all completed projects using the CHEERS online registry system.
What You'll Do
As a Registry Administrator, you will be the final point of contact for ensuring projects are officially filed with the state. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Registering completed field inspections and verifying all required documentation, inspection results, and supporting data are complete and compliant before submission.
- Coordinating with various team members—including field technicians, permit techs, and project managers—to gather any missing information.
- Maintaining accurate records of all registered projects and ensuring all deadlines for compliance filings are met.
- Troubleshooting and resolving issues or discrepancies that arise during the registry process.
- Staying up-to-date on state registry updates and internal procedures.
- Reporting on registration status and project completion metrics.
Requirements

- Prior experience with the CHEERS registry or California Title 24/HERS compliance is a major plus.
- Experience in the energy compliance, HVAC, or construction industry, especially with a background in the USA, is highly valued.
