Job Overview
- Position: Remote Bookkeeper/Tax Planner
- Location: Remote (Work from Home)
- Schedule: Flexible, Monday to Friday, with a requirement to be located in EST or CST time zones
- Job Type: Part-time
- Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Manage financial records of multiple clients using QuickBooks Online
- Record daily financial transactions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank and credit card statements to ensure accuracy
- Generate financial reports and summaries for client review
- Collaborate with tax professionals to ensure accurate financial data for tax preparation
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly
Requirements
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, preferably in a remote or virtual environment
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and a strong understanding of accounting principles
- Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy in financial data entry
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to manage multiple clients and tasks concurrently
- Prior experience in a tax firm or accounting firm is a plus
