[Remote] EOI Liaison (PLADS)

The EOI Liaison will act as a single-point-of-contact for escalated customer issues, assist with understanding EOI processes, and support the installation of new and existing accounts for medical underwriting. Responsibilities - Acts as a single-point-of-contact for escalated member-specific issues and/or broader customer matters - Assists internal and external customers in understanding EOI processes - Proactively resolves customer-related issues with account executives as appropriate - Supports installation of new and existing accounts for medical underwriting by attending implementation planning/process meetings - Works closely with Implementation and Account Managers and completes review of case set-up, modifications of new and/or existing customer plan provisions and EOI rules within Salesforce - Attends/participates in client meetings on an as needed basis - Ensures proper utilization of paper EOI forms with customers and prefilling EOI forms as needed - Responsible for opening tickets for EOI-related system issues and enhancements, writing and signing off requirements, UAT testing, and as needed system training that impacts Medical Underwriting department - Daily monitoring of incoming documents in ZDW and assigning tasks to underwriters - Oversight and timely delivery on daily, monthly, and ad hoc reports, including performance guarantee results - Responsible for preload and post load review of weekly and AE EOI files; works closely with file load team and account team on issue and resolution - Manages projects as assigned and performs other related duties as required Skills - Experience using MS Office Suite – Word, Excel and PowerPoint - Strong communication skills (verbal, written, presentation) - Demonstrates strong consultative skills and the ability to influence constituents - Strong understanding of multiple aspects of benefit plans and products - Ability to work with cross-functional business units to support the customer's needs - Strong project management skills - Critical thinking and decision-making skills - Strong knowledge of standard policies and procedures - Bachelor's Degree In a related field - 1 – 3 years of experience with Group Life and Disability products - 1 – 3 years of experience with medical underwriting systems and automation - Customer Service experience Benefits - Medical, dental, and vision coverage - Prescription drug coverage - Health care flexible spending - Dependent care flexible spending - Aflac supplemental policies (Accident, Cancer, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity offered at no costs to employee) - 401(k) plans - Annual bonuses - Opportunity to purchase company stock - 11 paid holidays - Up to 20 days PTO to be used for any reason - State-mandated sick leave (Washington employees accrue 1-hour sick leave for every 40 hours worked) - Other leaves of absence, if eligible, when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being - Aflac complies with all applicable leave laws, including, but not limited to, sick and safe leave, and adoption and parental leave, in all states and localities.
