As a Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience and contribute to various projects within our teams, focusing on optimizing manufacturing operations and improving process efficiency. Responsibilities • Assist in process improvement projects to enhance manufacturing efficiency and reduce waste • Support the implementation of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and ensure product quality • Gain exposure to various manufacturing technologies and equipment • Participate in data analysis and problem-solving activities • Contribute to the development and maintenance of manufacturing documentation and standard operating procedures Skills • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or similar field • Must graduate December 2026 or later • Must continue enrollment in degree program upon completion of the internship • Validated academic excellence (3.0 GPA and higher) • Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have asylum or refugee status in the U.S • Candidates must be authorized to legally work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic team environment • Industrial design talent • Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies • Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work • Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience is a plus • Ability to easily and effectively balance many priorities and results-oriented demands • Good interpersonal skills verbal and written Benefits • Relocation benefits • Short-term housing if they are 50 miles or more from their assigned work location (excluding Puerto Rico and Canada) Company Overview • Honeywell is a technology and manufacturing company that produces products for the automation, aviation, and energy transition industries.
