The Role: Remote Registered Dietitian/Certified Nutrition Specialist
We're seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Remote Registered Dietitian/Certified Nutrition Specialist to join our team as a 1099 contractor. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your expertise in nutrition and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients. As a Nutrisense nutritionist, you'll engage directly with clients via personalized video consultations, addressing a range of health needs including diabetes management, weight loss, PCOS, performance training, and digestive issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct 60-minute initial consultations and 30- or 60-minute follow-up sessions with clients, providing personalized guidance and support.
- Utilize our advanced CGM technology and app insights to inform your nutrition recommendations and help clients achieve their health goals.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our clients' needs, preferences, and health objectives to deliver tailored advice.
- Work flexibly, setting your own schedule with the ability to make weekly adjustments to suit your lifestyle.
- Leverage our insurance billing and support system, allowing you to focus on delivering exceptional client care.
- Participate in required meetings and training sessions, contributing to your ongoing professional development.
- Have the opportunity to bring your own clients to the platform, accessing our technology and resources while earning higher compensation for client referrals.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To succeed in this role, you must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or a Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS) with a passion for delivering personalized care. While previous experience in telehealth and functional nutrition is preferred, we're committed to providing the training and support you need to excel.
- Minimum Requirements:
- RDN or CNS certification.
- Availability of at least 15 hours per week, with flexibility to work more hours as desired.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous work experience in telehealth.
- Experience in functional nutrition.
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Our Total Compensation Package is designed to reward your expertise and dedication. You'll enjoy:
- $40/hour for insurance-covered consultations ($10 per 15-minute billable unit).
- Additional compensation for clients sourced directly by you.
- $25/hour for required meetings outside of client sessions.
- A $400 flat fee for onboarding and training.
