Advent Health Winter Park is a premier destination for obstetrical care. With roots deep in the community, AH Winter Park has been providing individualized care for generations in a boutique style environment. Our NICU is a 12 bed Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. AH Winter Park delivers approximately 3,500+ births per year (275 babies per month). The adjacent units are a 14 bed Labor and Delivery unit and a 34 bed Mother Infant Unit. The multidisciplinary team is supported by Neonatologists/Pediatric Hospitalists and OB Hospitalists on Labor and Delivery 24/7. Our NICU Network expands across multiple campuses and has been recognized by U.S. News and World Report as the Best for Neonatology in Florida Other highlights include the Professional Excellence Program and our Perinatal Nurse Internship Program. The value you’ll bring to the team: Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients. Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary. Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions. Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance. Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
