WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As a Sales Development Representative (Virtual), you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities through virtual channels. You’ll be the first point of contact for potential customers, helping to build relationships and guide them through the early stages of the sales process. This role is essential to driving pipeline growth and supporting our broader sales organization.
Key tasks and responsibilities include:
- Engage with inbound and outbound leads via phone, email, video, and social platforms, demonstrating strong interpersonal and virtual communication skills.
- Qualify prospects and schedule discovery meetings for Key Account Managers by applying active listening, business acumen, and a consultative approach.
- Maintain consistent outreach to nurture leads through the sales funnel, using personalized messaging and multi-touch strategies.
- Collaborate with Marketing to align messaging and campaigns, contributing insights from frontline interactions to improve targeting and content relevance.
- Track interactions and lead status in CRM systems with precision, ensuring data integrity and supporting accurate forecasting.
- Provide feedback on lead quality and campaign effectiveness, using analytical thinking to identify trends and recommend improvements.
- Meet or exceed monthly activity and pipeline generation goals, demonstrating resilience, time management, and a results-driven mindset.
- Conduct market and account research to understand industry trends, buyer personas, and competitive positioning, enhancing outreach effectiveness.
- Leverage digital tools and platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, video messaging) to increase engagement and build rapport with prospects.
- Adapt outreach strategies based on performance metrics, feedback, and evolving customer needs, showing agility and continuous improvement.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to refine lead qualification criteria and share insights that support broader sales and marketing strategies.
- Represent the company’s brand and values with professionalism, empathy, and integrity in all prospect interactions.

- 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer-facing, or lead generation roles
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and virtual engagement platforms

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
