The Role: Sales Professional
As a Sales Professional, you will play a critical role in our team, working closely with our clients to understand their needs and provide personalized solutions. You will be responsible for:
- Utilizing our exclusive warm lead program to contact clients who have requested protection plan information
- Gathering pertinent information from clients to customize their protection plans
- Researching protection plan options and presenting findings to clients
- Following up with clients within one to two days on research results, either in person, over the phone, or virtually
- Consulting with clients on plan suitability for their specific needs
- Assisting clients in the plan application process
- Applying on behalf of clients to the appropriate carrier for final approval
- Contacting carriers for the status of applications
- Following up with clients on carrier decisions
Essential Qualifications and Skills
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:
- Be a U.S. legal resident
- Obtain state life and health insurance license (we provide support and resources to help you achieve this)
- Be proficient in using phone, laptop or desktop computer, and printer
- Be able to virtually attend weekly meetings (occasionally in person) for sales training, mentorship, and business building
- Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be self-motivated and able to work independently
- Have a strong desire to learn and grow in the insurance industry
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are preferred:
- Previous experience in sales or customer service
- Familiarity with insurance products and industry
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
