Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Adversarial Abuse team, responsible for identifying and removing bad actors attempting account takeovers, spam, and other forms of abuse, as well as the Business Intelligence team, which generates insights and publishes Transparency Reports for countries worldwide.
• Understand, anticipate, and mitigate risks from emerging industry trends, such as generative AI, and collaborate with the Policy Development team to create policies that effectively address harmful behavior.
• Drive effective and efficient operational execution across a global team working 24/7, engaging, retaining, and developing top talent.
• Manage escalations with rapid turnaround times, providing data-driven insights and implementing policies while building relationships with key cross-functional partners to launch new products and policies that prevent adversarial abuse.

Essential Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with a strong background in risk management, fraud fighting, and data analysis.
• At least 2 years of experience working with engineering teams that build data infrastructure and ML models.
• Proven ability to lead teams with non-standard workweeks and manage escalations with rapid turnaround times.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to drive strategy and business action using data insights.

Preferred Qualifications

• A postgraduate degree in a related field, such as analytics, engineering, or data science.
• Experience in analyzing large datasets and anomaly detection.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in anti-abuse operations.
• Proficiency in SQL, R, or Matlab.
• Exceptional influencing and leadership skills, with the ability to build relationships with cross-functional partners.
