Senior GL Accountant We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior GL Accountant to join our growing Finance team. Reporting directly to the Controller, you will be an integral part of our Accounting & Finance division - owning the integrity of our general ledger and playing a key role in the financial health of our organization. Responsibilities - Oversee and participate in the month-end close process, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement analysis. - Oversee revenue recognition across all service lines, ensuring accurate and timely recording in accordance with GAAP as part of the month-end close cycle. - Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with GAAP. - Assist with the annual budgeting and forecasting process. - Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial reporting. - Analyze financial data and identify trends and variances. - Prepare files to aid in the preparation of tax returns and reports. - Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff. - Collaborate with other departments on cross-functional projects. - Stay current on accounting regulations and best practices. Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field. - CPA certification preferred. - Public accounting experience preferred. - 3+ years of progressive accounting experience. - Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles. - Proficient in Sage Intacct and Microsoft Excel. - Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
