Your Role in Our Mission
As a Senior HEDIS Data Analyst, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex databases, access methods, and statistical methods to ensure that client requirements are satisfied. Your expertise in HEDIS, Health Quality, and population health management will be invaluable in driving the success of our PHM project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain complex databases, access methods, access time, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods to ensure that client requirements are satisfied.
- Review and edit data requirements and documents according to required standards by utilizing prescribed tools and methods to ensure that design and implementation are according to company guidelines and client specifications.
- Provide overall monitoring of standards and procedures and suggest revisions when necessary to ensure updated guidelines to meet changing market demands and consistency across databases.
- Apply data analysis or data modeling techniques to establish, modify or maintain complex data structures and their associated components to increase efficiency of structures and components.
- Investigate and resolve technical matters of significance within databases by analyzing and determining possible causes to ensure client satisfaction.
- Provide work direction and guidance to less experienced personnel using the data structures and associated components to ensure that business specifications are met.
- Provide training in data modeling techniques and incorporating data modeling into information systems to ensure consistency in development and maintenance of database structures across the company.
- Research business objectives and data requirements of clients to ensure that developed databases meet client needs.
- Communicate with clients about data-related discrepancies and other matters of significance to ascertain information and correct errors.
What We're Looking For
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in data analysis, programming, and healthcare. Here are the key qualifications and skills we are looking for:
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Six or more years of experience in programming or data analysis.
- Experience working with data administration, repository management, database creation techniques, and data warehousing standards, strategies, and tools.
- Experience in HEDIS, Health Quality, PHM, and other relevant areas.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar languages.
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or related field.
- Experience working with company-used database and statistical software and product configurations.
- Experience working with security software packages, domain structures, user authentication, and digital signatures.
- Experience working with relevant programming languages and relational databases for database management and general software development.
- Experience with configuring and installing various operating systems and application software.
