Senior Production Planning Manager Global Manufacturing Network | Multi-Site Operations A rapidly growing global manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Production Planning Manager to lead production planning strategy across a large network of manufacturing facilities in North America and Europe. This is a high-visibility leadership role responsible for optimizing production scheduling, balancing demand across facilities, improving operational efficiency, and ensuring customer orders are delivered On-Time and In-Full (OTIF). If you have experience leading production planning teams in a multi-site manufacturing environment, this opportunity offers the ability to influence operations at scale. What You'll Do Production Planning Leadership • Lead and develop a team of production planners supporting multiple manufacturing facilities • Drive improvements in production scheduling, capacity planning, and operational efficiency • Ensure alignment between demand planning, manufacturing capacity, and business priorities Supply & Capacity Planning • Lead supply planning activities within the S&OP / SIOP process • Analyze production capacity by facility, production line, and asset group • Identify capacity constraints and implement solutions to support business growth Operational Performance Improvement • Monitor and improve key operational metrics including: • Production Attainment • Customer OTIF (On-Time In-Full) • Planning cycle execution • Partner with plant leadership teams to improve planning accuracy and operational performance • Reduce overproduction and optimize production work order planning Cross-Site Production Coordination • Balance production demand across facilities when capacity or operational needs shift • Collaborate with sales, operations, inventory management, and quality teams • Support supply chain continuity during demand changes or supply disruptions Systems & Process Optimization • Improve the use of ERP production planning tools • Evaluate opportunities to implement enterprise production planning systems • Maintain accurate visibility into equipment, molds, tooling, and production assets Key Performance Metrics Success in this role will be measured by improvements in: • Production Attainment • Customer On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) • Supply planning execution • Implementation of operational improvement initiatives What We're Looking For Required Experience • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business • Experience managing production planning within a manufacturing environment • Leadership experience overseeing planning teams across multiple facilities • Strong understanding of capacity planning and production scheduling • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, IQMS, or similar platforms Preferred Qualifications • APICS / ASCM certification (CPIM or CSCP) • Experience with S&OP / SIOP processes • Six Sigma, Lean, or PMP certification • Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or business intelligence tools • Spanish language skills are a plus Leadership Traits The ideal candidate is: • A strategic thinker who can manage complex operations • Comfortable leading initiatives across multiple manufacturing sites • Driven to challenge the status quo and implement continuous improvement • A collaborative leader with strong communication skills Why This Role This opportunity allows you to influence production planning strategy across a large global manufacturing network, helping drive operational performance, customer satisfaction, and long-term business growth.
