We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Software Developer to join our Global IT team at Costco, one of the world's leading retailers. As a Software Developer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and implementing solutions for our global warehouse arrangement, working closely with a talented team of professionals in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Job Summary:
- Design, develop, and implement software applications for our global warehouse arrangement
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Systems Architects and Product Managers, to extend the capabilities of our global warehouse arrangement
- Develop and execute unit tests to validate code changes and ensure high-quality solutions
- Participate in scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, review, and retrospectives
- Provide 24/7 on-call application support for our global station arrangement and related applications
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Master-level understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, such as jQuery and AngularJS
- Experience with Git, RESTful services, and testing frameworks like Karma, Jasmine, and NUnit
- Expertise in Web Markup, including HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders inside and outside of IT
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Azure
- Experience with Azure DevOps
- Understanding of cloud design implications and experience with Azure
