As a key member of our Advancing Trades program, you will play a pivotal role in shaping Apple's voice and connecting with customers on a human level. You'll be responsible for crafting and managing compelling communications that embody the essence of Apple – innovative, elegant, and deeply human. This is an exceptional opportunity to directly influence how people perceive and experience Apple products and services.
We are seeking highly motivated recent graduates and early-career professionals to join a 15-month rotational program, commencing in Fall 2024. Based out of Apple Park, this immersive program offers rotations across various Apple teams, including Product, Organizations, App Store, Retail, and Values PR. You will gain invaluable experience within one of the world's most respected brands, developing a comprehensive understanding of public relations and communications across all facets of our business.

Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation & Storytelling: Develop engaging content across various formats, including blog posts, guidelines, news notes, incorporation reports, and pitches, to communicate new products, features, and Apple's broader initiatives.
- Media & Industry Monitoring: Proactively monitor news and industry trends related to Apple products, software, services, and relevant cultural topics. Summarize and report on key developments for internal and external audiences.
- Product Launch Support: Collaborate closely with the Product Marketing team to develop and execute communication strategies for new product and feature launches across iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple Watch, AirPods, HomePod, and Apple Vision Pro.
- Organizational Storytelling: Partner with the Organizations PR team to tell compelling stories around enriching experiences on Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Fitness+, Apple Books, Apple News, Apple News+, Apple Arcade, Apple Pay, and other Apple services.
- App Store Advocacy: Work with the App Store team to highlight the stories of developers and the innovative ways they leverage Apple's platforms to create exceptional user experiences.
- Values & Social Impact Communications: Contribute to communications efforts related to Apple's commitment to accessibility, education, environment, privacy, diversity & inclusion, and security.
- Media Relations & Research: Conduct thorough research on press and key influencers covering relevant subject verticals. Develop and maintain media contact lists.
- Event & Program Support: Assist with public relations activities related to events, press briefings, creator studios, and other media and stakeholder relations programs.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of communication plans and timelines.
Key Abilities & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field is highly preferred.
- 0-1 year of relevant work experience in an office environment is a plus.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with Apple products and software is desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information into clear and concise messaging.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently.
- Collaborative team player with a positive and proactive attitude.
- Quick learner with a strong ability to take ownership and initiative.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines.
