Skills
- Undergraduate degree in civil or structural engineering from an accredited university
- Registered, or eligible for registration, as an Engineer-in-Training with EGBC
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in consulting engineering is an asset
- Familiar with structural analysis programs such as SAP 2000 or equivalent
- Working knowledge of local building codes and Canadian design standards
- Ability to read, interpret and create drawings and specifications
- Ability to compose technical memorandum and technical report with minimal supervision
- Committed team player and the ability to work independently
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- General knowledge of construction methods and project delivery processes
- Site experience is an asset
