All Jobs  >  Vice President, Finance and Accounting Waiakea Inc Apply Vice President, Finance and Accounting Fully Remote • Remote Worker - N/A Type Full-time Description Position Overview: The Vice President of Finance & Accounting serves as the senior financial leader of the organization, responsible for overseeing all financial operations, strategic financial planning, and accounting functions across multiple entities. This role partners closely with the executive leadership team to drive financial strategy, optimize operational performance, and support sustainable business growth. The VP will lead financial planning and analysis, oversee accounting operations, and provide data-driven insights that guide key business decisions and long-term strategic initiatives. Essential Job Functions: Financial Leadership & Strategy · Provide executive leadership for all finance and accounting functions, including Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), accounting operations, and financial reporting across three companies. · Partner with the executive leadership team to develop and execute financial strategies that support organizational growth and long-term financial sustainability. · Deliver financial insights, analysis, and recommendations that inform strategic decision-making and company direction. · Develop financial forecasts, capital plans, and long-range financial models to support expansion and operational planning. Operational & Financial Management · Oversee financial performance and operating results, identifying opportunities for revenue growth, operational efficiency, and cost optimization. · Establish and monitor key financial metrics and performance indicators to evaluate operational productivity and profitability. · Implement and improve financial processes, internal controls, and operational procedures to strengthen financial management and accountability. · Conduct ongoing analysis of organizational operations to identify opportunities for cost reduction, process improvement, and system enhancements. Reporting, Compliance & Governance · Prepare and present financial performance reports to executive leadership and the Board, including analysis of results, financial projections, and variance reporting. · Lead corrective action planning to address performance gaps and minimize financial risk. · Oversee corporate administration and manage key third-party relationships including banking partners, insurance providers, auditors, legal advisors, and regulatory entities. · Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal governance practices. Team Leadership · Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results-driven performance. · Collaborate cross-functionally with department leaders to align financial goals with operational priorities. Requirements    QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: · Deep expertise in US GAAP and financial reporting standards required. · CPA preferred. · Significant finance leadership experience within CPG, beverage, or food manufacturing industries. · Strong expertise in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), strategic planning, financial modeling, forecasting, and business analytics. · Experience leading finance functions within companies in the $75M–$100M revenue range, with the ability to scale financial operations during periods of rapid growth. · Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership to drive strategic business decisions and long-term financial planning. · Experience with NetSuite ERP, including NSPB (NetSuite Planning & Budgeting) and Fixed Assets modules. · Strong analytical and financial modeling capabilities with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. · Proven ability to evaluate and prioritize strategic investments, present financial insights, and support executive decision-making with data-driven analysis. · Experience managing external financial partners including banking, audit, insurance, legal, and regulatory compliance. Salary Range: The final determined salary will be based on the candidates background and experience that fit the role requirements.
