HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY
- Work collaboratively with front‑of‑house staff to ensure a positive guest experience and consistent food quality.
- Prepare, cook, and execute recipes accurately across all kitchens.
- Create new, innovative, and imaginative dishes as needed.
- React quickly and resolve issues in the absence of the Sous Chef.
- Provide support, foster teamwork, and conduct business professionally at all times.
- Regularly inspect all food stations to ensure safety, sanitation, and compliance with standards.
- Supervise kitchen employees during shifts when the Sous Chef is not present to ensure smooth operations.
- Assist in covering vacancies within line‑level culinary positions as needed.
Responsibilities
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, and twist for extended periods
- Ability to work with hot equipment, sharp tools, and kitchen chemicals safely
- Ability to work in a smoking environment
- Must be able to work in high‑heat areas for extended periods
- Assist with administrative duties including ordering, receiving, prep lists, and par levels
Qualifications
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Proficient in English, verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑volume kitchen environment
- Strong culinary knowledge and ability to execute recipes accurately
- Flexible to work various shifts, outlets, weekends, and holidays
- Prior culinary experience required; leadership experience preferred
