About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Personnel Security Specialist to join our Federal Solutions team, focusing on Continuous Evaluation. This role is pivotal in ensuring the integrity and security of our operations, working closely with government agencies and contractors. As a Personnel Security Specialist, you will be at the forefront of managing and investigating security clearances, leveraging your expertise to safeguard sensitive information and support the success of our missions.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, investigate, research, document, and forward reportable information to adjudications within mandated timelines, adhering to the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act (IRTPA) and Director of National Intelligence (DNI) guidelines.
- Process security reportables according to the triage plan, ensuring timely resolution of high, medium, and low-risk issues.
- Conduct comprehensive interviews with personnel at all levels to resolve security concerns, preparing accurate and quality reports of investigations.
- Utilize the Defense Information System for Security (DISS) and Scattered Castles to manage security clearance processes efficiently.
- Maintain meticulous records in the PeopleSoft security system, ensuring all actions are documented and filed appropriately.
- Investigate and process adjudicative relevant information received through Automated Records Checks (ARC) and the Continuous Evaluation Program (CEP), adhering to SISP mandated timelines.
- Apply knowledge of the thirteen Adjudicative Guidelines (SEAD) to ensure compliance and effective resolution of security concerns.
- Demonstrate clear and concise writing skills, along with positive and engaging communication skills, to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
To excel in this role, you must possess:
- An active Top-Secret security clearance, with the ability to obtain and maintain an SCI and CI POLY clearance.
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in security clearance processes or a similar domain.
- Proven experience in managing security clearances, investigations, and continuous evaluation processes.
- Knowledge and experience working with systems such as DISS and Scattered Castles.
- A strong understanding of the thirteen Adjudicative Guidelines (SEAD) and their application in security clearance adjudications.
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following qualifications can significantly enhance your candidacy:
- Experience working within the federal government or defense sector, particularly in roles related to security clearances and continuous evaluation.
- Familiarity with PeopleSoft security systems and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- A background in conducting security investigations and interviews, with a proven track record of resolving complex security concerns.
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data from various sources, including ARC and CEP.

Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $70,500.00 - $123,400.00, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, paid time off, 401(k), life insurance, and flexible work schedules.
